Brian has been leading the firm since 2001. With more than three decades of experience, there’s no challenge he won’t tackle, no project type he can’t master and no race he won’t run.
Committed to continual education and growth, Brian stays immersed in all things architecture. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with Honors with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1990. With past leadership roles in the American Institute of Architects of East Tennessee and the East Tennessee Community Design Center, Brian operates on the forefront of new trends and best practices that benefit not only our team, but also the clients we serve. His sincere care in our projects, our clients and our staff is clearly evident in the way he manages our company.
An active member of the community, Brian has served as president of Goodwill Industries, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, and he continues to commit time and resources toward many volunteer efforts such as having the firm provide pro bono services for non-profit and disadvantaged clients. He and his wife, who happens to be a structural engineer, love to take advantage of all Knoxville has to offer, and can usually found hiking at Ijams Nature Center, biking on the greenways, working out at the downtown YMCA, or enjoying the Farmer’s Market on Market Square.
