With a 2001 BArch degree from the University of Tennessee College of Architecture + Design, Robyn has been a licensed architect since 2001. Robyn’s passion for architecture and our firm is evident by her eagerness and skill in forming new relationships – locally and regionally – to generate new projects for D&E. Her enthusiasm is further displayed by her involvement in the community as past president of AIA of East TN, board member of AIA State of TN, and chair of the City of Knoxville Board of Zoning Appeals. Robyn, a LEED AP BD+C through the USGBC, keeps up-to-date on smart, sustainable strategies so we can be good stewards of our environment and of our clients’ money. She serves as board member and membership chair for the newly re-formed Old City Neighborhood Association, and serves as Treasurer of Knoxville’s Community Development Association (KCDC).
Robyn also serves as project manager, where she oversees project implementation of each development phase, keeps a watchful eye on budget and schedule, and ensures consistency and accuracy throughout –skills that also come in handy as a soccer mom of two, a wife, and a deacon at her church. She sings loudly, jogs & hikes adventurously, reads often, and never misses a chance to put something into a spreadsheet.
