This 5,000 square-foot Pure Magic Automotive Facility was the first of a series with this Owner. These projects are an interesting exercise in coordination of specialized equipment to perform the car wash functions, and to accommodate the business side of the operation, while also providing needed facilities for the customers. We designed the facility to properly operate on the site, and to adhere to the brand’s identity. Normally, building design is done with the goal of preventing leaks from the outside-in. In these situations, the water prevention is also from the inside-out. Our design and detailing of the interior elements was done in such a way to ensure a water-tight seal in both directions.
